I agree, but I have not had any problems with my 1.25" wheel spacers. I saw a pic of 16x10 rims with spacers and it was pretty beastly

I thought about wheel spacers but I have a feeling for some reason that they just arent that good - I was thinking more critical parts to come loose under heavy stress and they also put more strain on the wheel bearings. Do you agree with this, and if so, is it significant?

I'm wondering if I can get some help. Have a 2011 double cab long bed Tacoma stock, and I want to put these rockcrusher 887 on with cooper STT 265/70R17 on. Wondering if I will have any rub on the calipers or undercarriage without a lift? Also, what size back spacing I should get? Thanks in advance!

My stock rim is 17x7.5, I would like to put a 17x9 raceline rim on.

Also, I guess the rockcrusher 887 wheels come in 17x9 with a 5.0 back spacing. My stock rims are 17x7.5 with a 3.75 back spacing. Just wondering if I will get any rubbing without a lift? Thanks

I ran a procomp 16x8 with 3.75 bs and it rubbed like hell. (stock) With a 9 inch width your probably looking aroud a 4.5 mabey a 4 inch bs with minimal fender trimming.

Thanks, do you think a leveling kit would be enough lift for no rubbing?

How much trimming did you have to do upfront?

A lot. Went up to 305s after that. Had to hammer the pinch weld flat with a BFH. After that, it was good though
