Really cool shot. If it was in the lineup and I was the winner picker I’d probably be picking that one.

It’s really interesting to see how everyone interpreted the assignment. The forgotten limo is quite humorous and the shot up TV / appliance with editorial is a message that is sadly often ignored.

I dig the forgotten house interior, it has a very 3 dimensional look to it and a number of different textures, it’s a photo that draws the eye to explore all the corners

Thanks man, I'm pretty sure the drivers door is clear. The car sits right next to my house on my neighbor's property. I was told that's his old parts car, it's still pretty complete though. Sad to see it rotting away.

I love the potential stories behind this, and long exposure/low light shots.. the short star trails are sweeet

Bullet holes in the drivers window, I didn't venture to look inside.

I was just messing with a b&w filter on my phone. Not sure what one which gave it the color. And the stars are actually blowing snow. :D

geez, that's a good breeze.. kinda frustrating how winter photo sessions are limited by frostbite onset, and frozen batteries..
going to take this opportunity to plug the AC outlet in cab mod because it's awesome.. dead battery when i left home last night to get my shot, and the battery had more life than my fingers by the time i got out there..

    AC outlet in cab.jpg

now you mention it i can see those aren't star trails, just seeing what i want to see, lol...
I love that technology is at the point where a cell phone can match a dslr in photo quality..

i gotta say, bullet holes, I'd be checking the headliners and under the seats for stashed cash, open that briefcase in the trunk.. worst case scenario find a body.. best case..? treasure hunt!

But the wind does some cool stuff...

Frozen waves on a small lake.
    IMG_20180217_171912_171.jpg

And I ended up attempting an impromptu climb of a 14er (>14k elevation mountain) and had to hit the deck on multiple occasions because the random gusts were threatening to knock me over.. And down the mountain. I'd guess they were up to 80mph gusts.

Picture was at about 13,300ft on Mt Democrat.

I didn't make it to the summit because my water bladder hose froze and i couldn't get it to work. I decided it was probably a good idea to call it.

Haha I was just looking to explore up to a lake and when i got there, realized there were a few more trails so i figured why not although I was regretting leaving the snowshoes in the truck. Endless exploring around here... i originally set out to get to the ruins of the most productive gold mine in Colorado, but snow got in the way.

The views at the top are worth it!

I can dig that. My pictures are still crap, but I've started looking at things from another perspective since I started taking photos.

I'll get things started. My Tacoma is kind of like me, doesn't go out much after dark, especially when it's -20F. Here is my entry.
