Longest range I have for now.
Rem 700P cut to 20" in a manners TF1 stock.

Thanks, went with a Timney 510 when Remington sent out the recall on all the 700 triggers.

Can't remember if I've posted pics here, so here's a couple:

Rem700 5R 300WM and my trusty old 20" LaRue Stealth. On this day, my friends and I were shooting 1200 and 1000 yards.

Nice! I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that throws my scope cap to the side instead of like a flag! I will admit, I have now advanced even further and use vortex’s full flip back covers no matter what scope I’m using .

Yeah, I should probably pick up a set of those, but it's one of those things I only think about when they're in the way. I just take rear one off completely. I started having the front open sideways because it would get in the way when scanning for targets. Doesn't work the same on the AR because I always cant the rifle to the left if I'm scanning while shooting off hand or rested. So no more covers on the AR.

It actually came that way. This was my first foray into the long range shooting world. The 5R came highly recommend by several gunsmiths who just said get it, shoot the barrel out and then customize it. Once I learned how to shoot the magnum it was a consistent 3/4" shooter with handloaded 208 Amax and the stock trigger. Flyers come here and there because of the inconsistent trigger, so that's gotta go. Also, I'm a little jealous of all the newfangled chassis guns that are coming out now, but I love the look of a traditional rifle stock as well, so I may just go with something similar and an adjustable comb. I'm a little torn. 5 years with this gun, though, and I'm pretty happy with it.

Hey, nothing says you can’t have more than one! LOL!
I run a 5R barrel also. And the 2nd stage If my 2 stage trigger is only 7 ounces, what a huge difference and advantage at 1500 yards
