Does anyone know the part number for the rubber moulding that runs the length of the roof? I think someone stole mine. One day the passengers side moulding was missing. I am not sure if its 1 piece (on a Double Cab), but its missing from the windshield all the way to the back window. Also, where would be the best place to buy a new one?

Here is a picture of the piece that is missing.

Find someone who installed a factory roof rack and ask them for the piece...

These are a huge pain in the a to get back on and stay on. I've had them fly off while on the freeway. I'm curious to know how you or the dealer I suppose plans to mount them back on.

I have both sides that I will sell you. I am one of those guys who installed a factory roof rack. Don't really know what there worth but I can check with my local dealer tomorrow. And of course I won't be ridiculous on the price.

mine tore at the lil rubber clips. i used some strong construction adhesive i had kicking around (pl premium), glued the pieces and used tape to hold them together over night.

when i installed them back on i used 3m double sided tape on both sides of the rubber clips

damn thing wont budge now :D

May need 2 clips (75561-02020, pkg of 4) for it if they are no longer in the channel. Here's a .pdf page from the shop repair manual giving details of installation:

I had the drive side fly off while driving on the highway last year. Went to the dealership and they replaced it for free.

I was washing my truck the other day and was thinking, wtf?

Looks to be a sure leak spot...mine looked like they had kind of
wandered a little and were not seated very well.
i didnt lift them out, but what is under there anyway?...
a body weld? trim fasteners...or mounting points.

are they meant to be vibration dampers for a roof rack?
...for those that have done the rack thing?

    school me.

I'm missing the one on my passenger side (DCAB).

Anyone else with a roof rack willing to part it out? :D

Not sure on the roof rack, but today I found my truck leaking at the overhead console. Others have talked about leaks where the fresh air vents are. For a 3 year old truck, leaks should not happen.

Was it easy for you to find and repair? Of did you have to take it to the dealership. I have no desire to pay $ 500 for the original lack of craftsmanship. Was you leak right in the middle upper portion? And thanks for the information. OP sorry for the tread steal

They're called "drip rails" and for some reason, the clips that Toyota uses for them SUCK, and they all come off pretty easily. I doubt it was stolen. Likely a carwash, or high-speed driving. They honestly come off that easily.
