Toyteck 1" body lift, 3rd gen 5100 @4th notch in front, stock coils, stock uca's. Heavy metal 2" aal, extended bilstein b110. I will be adding uca's and ome springs to lift the front more, probably should have went with a 1" block in rear. 285/75r16 cheap ohtsu tires. I have 2 children and goals people...be nice:crapstorm:

Your gonna ruin that truck, aren’t you? JK. If it’s an extra inch you need, blocks aren’t the way. Find someone to sell your TRD Fox suspension to and use the money to buy something better that will lift that beast proper, without blocks.

I put the 2" AAL on thinking it might sag a bit to 1.5" or not a true 2". Lets say that's the best picture I have, because of the angle of the camera you can't see the excessive rake. I'm wanting to go 35's sometime in the next year and saving up for the UCA's, springs and gears. When I go 35's, I will not have an AAL, I will get a progressive leaf pack(7-9 leaf I think). I was thinking of taking of the AAL off to drop the rear and just run a block for now. The truck rides ok, a bit stiff because of stock coils. I really want to relocate the rear shock mounts and run 14" Fox shocks, but literally baby steps for now until I don't have $1100 a month for infant day care.

I can't think of any cons to a just a 1" body lift. You don't need to extend any lines. I'm thinking about it so I can get better clearance at full stuff without going to the limit of pre-load on my coils. Only issue is making sure the rear bumper lines up.

Bumper, tailgate, and bed gap. I've got a piece of black billboard sign to cut for the wheel wells. I need a welder and the bumper could be fixed.

I have the toytec 1" body lift on my 08 reg cab. I like how I can clean/undecoat my frame easily and I like the extra clearance in the wheel wells. I do not like the rear bumper gap and I do not like how to screwed up the front bumper body line where it meets the fender is.

I'm not sure how to approach this, I'm thinking shim just the bumper and leave the hitch alone.

This is just annoying, and they don't say anything about. You can glue or epoxy if you were to keep the cover.

The pro for me was not going over 1.5- 2" lift as I'm 4wd and trying to avoid the ECGS bushing replacement(will replace as needed) and extreme CV angles. The cons are the aesthetics, and have plans for this build and will eventually fix(front and rear bumpers). I really don't know what your doing with the truck (work, leisure, mall crawler, not hating), but if your not 4wd then I would go for suspension and improve ride quality. You have a nice 2nd gen, take care of it.

My plan is to do a full coilover setup, like kings... wanted to grab an extra inch to gain some extra tire clearance, thinking of 35 inch tires
