Do you still have the seat tilt forward feature that the stock passenger seat has?

    Negative.

The seats I have are out of a Forester XT. It's a sedan, so the passenger front seat did not need the tilt/slide forward feature.

It's the only one downside to my set up... kind of a PITA to get things in and out of the back (given my Herculean shoulders) but little ones can still easily get in and out of the back with the seat slid as forward as possible with the back support portion in the most upright position.

I have Corbeau seats in my 1968 Firebird. They are not these exact ones, but they are very similar. I can use lots of words to describe them, but cushy would not be one of them. They are actually quite hard. I like that, and the fact that they hold you in place, but they are not soft.

That's what I was afraid of....

I looked at a 2nd gen tundra regular cab and the pass seat back folds flat and might make it easier to get to the back. But those seats may be too wide to fit. I really just want to be able to get my ARB fridge in the back seat still. My kid can sit up front with the airbag off.

That's where my kid sits most of the time. But when my GF is with us, my daughter sits in the back - which is every camping trip, etc.

I've heard someone was able to put Scion seats in their Tacoma. Can't find the thread now.... May have been on Toyota Nation

    Found it!

Oh wow Those look comfy! Ill keep an eye out for a pair of those. I would imagine they would be much less expensive than the other manufacturers I've mentioned.
    Thanks a Whole Heap everyone!

Make sure to post some pics and how you did it if you find something that works. I love my truck but the seats really leave something to be desired.

I put Scion seats (driver side only, passenger side won't happen until the weekend)... But I messed up and got Scion TC seats, instead of Scion XB seat! :(

Luckily, the guy doing the actual work, is a roll cage builder, and he made it work, but any other sane person (me), would have just posted those TC seats on Craigslist!

I have rx8 seats in my truck, you only need to fab one bracket on each side... really comfy seats.

How are they as far as seat height? My BMW's have me riding pretty "tall in the saddle". I wind up craning my neck down and in to get a look at stop lights if I am close. Also bump my head as I get in, more times than not.

Seats came from a “sports car “ and the factory height is low. It has pretty good height adjustment, between 1 and 3 inches... and lifted tacomas has high center of gravity and this seats helps a lot holding you in curves....
