Truck bed liner to resurface composite bed?

‘05 Tacoma Pre-Runner V6 TRD-Offroad

3” RC Lift Kit 285/75/17 Toyo AT II on 17” Fuel Hostage

My ‘05 tacoma revive build is going amazingly up until the last few upgrades. My OEM composite bed was gouged up and is almost white from sun-fading(this all happened before I bought it).

I’ve had no luck finding a replacement anywhere, even on the factory toyota site. My question is, can I use the spray/roll on bed liner from either Herculiner or Rustoleum to resurface and restore the composite bed? How well will it hold, and have any of you done it?(pics?)
