Gulf coast is the best part IMO!!!! The bigger cities are getting a little liberal thanks to the likes of Ca being not so friendly to businesses so they are moving to free states!

You gotta make it to the border Adam! I will take you across the river to Mexico. Get the real experience of eating street food with cerveza and the smell of fresh gun powder from an AK47 in the air. We would travel into Tamaulipas. The US govt has placed this area in the same travel alert category as Iraq, Syria & Afghanistan. Fun stuff!

Bought a full set of 5100s online today. Thinkin of keeping it cheap(er) and setting them at .85 or 1.75 and keeping stock coils. Thoughts? Would I need to AAL in order to keep the truck from sitting nose high?

Been reading through “Suspension” for the last 20 minutes, and think I wanna go 1.75 but I’m afraid of the truck not riding well. Granted, I am 90% highway driving.

    Planning to run 265/75/16 tires

@1.75 you should have 1/4” rake. I didn’t add an AAL until I went to 3in in the front.

Also 265s should fit perfectly! Might have to take that front flap off though

Beautiful. Think I’ll ride that route for now. It at least partially scratches my itch for a lift and keeps it low cost for now until I find better work. How hard are 5100s to install? I don’t know that I’ll have them in time for mod day this weekend.

Not hard you'll need a spring compressor though, you can rent them from autozone or the like. There are plenty of install threads and youtube videos of how to do it.

Not bad really. I used the jack under the LCA method to install mine. Isn’t bad if you have a decent jack which I didn’t have so it made mine a little tougher.

If for some reason if you do need more in the rear you could add a small block for the time being until you can get an AAL.

That's how I feel about the lift. Two more days after today and then mod day!
