    I am running BFG KO2's 275/70/17
I want to get an appropriate spare to stuff under.
Im under the impression any tire the same size on a 17" spare steelie will be fine for a spare.
    Input?

Yea. That’s what I did. My Gen 2 had the original tire under the bed for 12 years. Never needed it. Why spend money on a high priced tire?

Some places require a same size spare, like Rausch. As long as the backspacing on your steelie is the same you should be good to go.
