- ECT mode Torque converter lock control - 1-2-3 gear slip (acceleration base)

4x4 mode AT Hi:
allowable torque control modified - higher threshold in lower RPM
Lock control per gear mod (4 Hi)

4x4 Low:
Allowable torque control modified - No thresholds
transmission 4 low Lockup control map for all gears modified

Valve Timing:
- optional map with revised and extended atkinson mode for part and low load up to 4000 RPM (degraded performance, better mpg)


TCU Flash:
Gears 1-5 Pressure control modified to match output power (high load pressure enhance)
Upshift offset timing (shift calculated delay) reduction

@OVTune based on your above post does this mean all us AT guys should expect to flash both the ECU and TCU?

Now they are too busy driving their trucks.

easy explanation : real development with actual testing and real world driving on a development truck with tons of features. Not a no name random tune with no development process by unknowns!
A lot of the things listed won't be noticeable.
Immediate things you'll notice is the gear changes, lock up, power, throttle, etc



Also FYI folks after 1.03 AT releases... in march I have to head back to Hong Kong to prepare some more cars for the next time attack event. If you're waiting to buy a kit and miss the window before I leave you may have to wait until april.

When flashing the tcu we do it the same way as plugging it into the ecu right?

Yes except you choose the “P5 gearbox” option. Really simple!

 

@OVTune can you confirm if s mode lockup is the same in 4hi and 4low

 

yes 4-hi, 4 low is regardless

 

Is S mode lockup a pseudo Manual mode where it won't downshift from whatever S gear you select?
