    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
I can see a Mobil station sign from my front yard. They took the prices down too. Either they're all sold out or just waiting to hit us with a nasty wake up call.

I paid 3.28 a gallon for 87 octane this morning. The lowest I've seen in months.

most places are now over $4/gal in town here...passed a couple places this morning that were still at $3.45/gal...lots of fights reported last night at the stations and several thefts already being reported this morning of gas being siphoned overnight from vehicles

lots of places claiming to be out or on short supply

last time this happened (with katrina) some jackass told my dad they were rationing because they didnt know when theyd get more in...as a tank truck was pulling up to fill them up...

my dad looked at the guy and told the attendant that he'd better be able to pump as much gas as he wanted

People around here are just dumb. Flocking to the gas stations and filling up cause a storm in the gulf. The storm hasnt hit yet and gas stations are already running out and others around them are jacking prices up. I saw it for $3.59/gal at two gas stations near each other and right down the road it was $3.99/gal at a lone gas station. Also its got to be price gouging cause if the price of gas goes up the price of diesel should rise too but im seeing regular gass for $3.99 and diesel for $3.99 at the same stations. For crying out loud people the only shortage is going to be the one created by people buying all the gas in a day.
