    Awesome! Can't wait for pics!!

If possible, you have to take some pics of your Taco shining the OEM bulbs down a road that is away from bright street lights. Note that spot and then take a pictures (with just LB and then with LB+Fogs) of your view down the road.

After you put in the new bulbs, go back to that exact same spot if you can and take more pics (again LB and LB+Fogs) using the same camera at the same settings. It'd be super helpful for others who read this thread to see a comparison to stock bulbs.

Sweet Baby Jesus, hope you ordered a RTT too...cause you might be sleeping outside for a while.

My led license plate lights are starting to flicker after 6 months. Anybody have suggestions on a good set that won’t flicker? Also suggestions on a good set of led reverse lights.

I bought this set you recommended, but I’m having issues getting them to start. Did you have the reverse polarity issue maybe? There are basically no instructions. On the box it diagrams switching the power source plug, but that plug has a slot on one side making it impossible to flip without grinding off a piece of the male end. I’ll figure it out eventually, but hoping you had some answers.

Just an FYI. One of my new HIKARI bulbs does have an issue. I move the wires around and one of the LEDs turns on/off. Gonna contact them and try and get a replacement. I did double check the wires were in snug no luck.

I had some from superbrightleds that flickered and I replaced them with ones from Walmart. They are the same color and had no issues with them yet.

ok I cant find the answer to this in here so here is my question.... 18 TRD OR want to do led interior, plate lights and reverse bulbs in led but see lots of them all over and some say you may require canbus bulbs. DO I?
Is that the solution to everyone haveing flickering lights or nothing to do with it? Im confused.

For the license plate LED, I used what they had at Autozone and have been pleasantly surprised. Although they are not super bright, they are brighter than stock, they are white (6K) so they look great, and best of all, they seem like they will do well against the elements since it's all sealed with plastic.

I didn't have to do any modifications when I installed mine. Have you checked the wiring diagram on the hylux thread? I'm terrible with wiring but I was able to figure these out without any issue.

I know I have all this right. The relay harness I bought makes this fool proof. That’s why the only thing I can imagine that is keeping this from working is the polarity issue. Hopefully have some time again today to try it.

Im sure this has been posted 100 times and probably the same one but I cant find numbers that seem to match. superbrightleds says the reverse light and map light are the same 194 bulb and then some say map is 2825 but then u get this listing on Amazon that says those bulbs are the same. SOOOOO, would this package work for me to change map and reverse?

This is seriously the garbage you guys buy? This product is a complete embarrassment to anyone that knows remotely anything about lighting.

Oh, right, this LED is somehow "different" than all the rest that made the exact same claims before it. Oh, but there were also the mis-guided threads supporting how great those LEDs were too before they faded to irrelevance. But these new LEDs are somehow "improved" over previous LEDs, even though it continues to use the same fundamentally flawed lighting technology and addresses none of the lighting issues. These products prey on uneducated and mis-informed buyers. If you disagree with these facts, you are not educated enough on lighting technologies to create a rebuttal.

    sw3D3pyiRgybgtw1%+ztRA.jpg

Once again I will show how wrongly mislead the forum is for lighting technologies, at my own expense.

But what do I know about LEDs? Well, this is my latest personal LED test rack, which I realize is only a small subset of the LEDs. But it gives a small snapshot into my work.

I think people would be more apt to acknowledge your information if you weren't so rude in your delivery.

Thank you for your opinions though. You're entitled to them. It seems however since were all idiots you're just wasting your expertise in this thread, and this forum.

    Great job.

crashnburn80 - Seems your frustration is directed more towards the vendors who sell substandard lighting than against the gentle readers here :)

In any case outstanding information! Pls continue to post your findings and recommendations. Anyone who's had the 19 year old in the Honda Civic with the blinding blue LEDs in their rear view mirror can understand the rational for choosing the right light source.
