Rear diff - driveshaft phase

My rear diff in my 08 finally let loose. After pricing all the parts to repair, I was able to locate a good used one for way less, more of a plug and play part...Question is, my driveshaft was marked to fit the phase of my stock diff, this new one wont...Any specific way to know if there is a right and wrong position?? I didnt check to see if the pinion yoke and driveshaft had any specific factory marks to identify, but wondered what matters??

 

If the driveshaft is balanced, it won't matter.

 

phasing of the rear u joint flange and pinion flange will not matter.

If all you are doing is unbolting the 4 bolts that hold the rear driveshaft on the diff and bolting it back up to the new axle you are fine no need to worry about phasing.
