Travel to buy

I live on the West Coast. I wanted a Pro in NC. But damn that SE TFS and all their restrictions. Would have been a beauty of a road trip.

250 miles is nothing. Do it.

 

I bought out of state and have had zero service problems at the local dealership

 

Always bought new from the closest dealer it had a good price, too lazy to travel.
Have drove company trucks for 20 years, 6 brand new ones Chevy, Ford, Dodge and we used them to death. We used dealers from all over the state when needed under warranty for different problems, never was an issue. Actually I was getting fast service since I had to drive back home and no time to lose.

 

Why would a dealer not want to do warranty work when you bought from another dealer? That's money in their pocket from Toyota.

 

Did you travel to get the truck you wanted?

I did not only because they could not give me numbers on my trade till I arrived and was changing what they would do.

 

Drove 400 miles for mine. Traded in my car. And drove the 400 miles back...

Worth every penny.
