    Thanks, man.
For the price, I don't think I could go wrong. I have a ladder rack on my truck now. Just need to decide which one I want/need more. Rack or shell?

I imagine that removing this cap is not as easy as my others. A forklift maybe????

I bought a used ARE shell for my 2014 TRD. What is the best way to seal the gap between the front of bed and the shell. I do not have anything in the gap and had a little water get in today in the rain. Thanks for the advise.

So water can also get between the metal bed sides and the plastic bed cap. Make sure to silicon this area. I used black silicone. For between the topper and the black bed cap get some cap seal as seen below in the products section.

Sounds like you need to move your cap forward.

Get the proper rubber gasket/seal from ARE.

Since the front of our beds is not even across the truck (side to side) and the ARE shell is flat on the bottom (side to side) they have a specialized rubber piece that fills the gap.

I have a Leer 100XR on my 2016 OR and I really like it. I have never had one drop of water get in it , however you will still get dust if you don't seal your tailgate and in bed storage compartments. My only complaint is it's a little hard to see through all the tint with the rear view mirror but I still like the way it looks.20180116_161323.jpg

I have that very same shell and as I said in my post, it has never leaked. I bought the truck with it already on it so I'm not sure how it was installed to make it so water tight.
