I got mine right at the auto warehouse right by me (Keystone Automotive) and for a price that nobody could come even remotely close. My son got them with his employee discount.

Well, just went ahead and ordered mine, got a great deal through eccracer104, he's an autoanything.com rep. Great discount on the listed price. Looking forward to seeing how it looks. I really like the flexibility the tri-fold style offers but at the end of the day I felt like it had too many moving parts that could be potential failure points down the road. Keeping it simple hasn't failed me yet.

Yep, I did ask about that and instead of the brackets for other trucks that clamp underneath the lip of the bed rail, these slide right into the utility rails. Anything else wouldn't have made any sense.

Do you still use the cleats in your rail? Seems they would fit in between the brackets and would the cover would clear them...

I used them a couple times and they were ok, but the handles are too damn thick for the hooks on bungees.

I'll definitely post some pics! Might be a while though, cover is shipping via freight and doesn't go out till between 7 and 9 Feb.

Got the cover a couple days ago, the freight shipping by LTL was excellent and no damage to the package. It actually took longer to install than I thought but was still pretty easy. Two main installation comments: 1) I didn’t have to make any adjustments, it fit perfectly square the first time, and 2) I didn’t have to install a stick on gasket on the bulkhead, it was built in to the cover.

More importantly I love the cover. Haven’t used it in rain yet but it has exactly the functionality I want and it looks great. I’ll post photos next week.

For anyone who stumbles across this thread down the road: the cover and parts are very nicely customized to the particulars of the 2012 Taco bed. The underside at the bulkhead and tailgate dips down to match where the bulkhead and tailgate are lower than the rails. Nice double bulb gasket all around. There's also a nice weatherproofing flap over the bulkhead area. The only hiccup in installation was that it's difficult to start threading the bolts into the sliders for the hinge hardware and for the strut bracket. I also can't imagine doing the install solo without dinging up the hardware or the cover. Lastly, the directions have an insert specific to the Taco but aren't 100% clear. Common sense prevails!

Thanks! Yeah I had some cardboard destined for the recycling yard that was in the bed for a week through a couple rainy days, and I didn't notice any issues. Really appreciate your feedback on the cover, one of the reasons I decided to go with it. Great decision.

Also big thanks to @eccracer104 who gave me a great deal via AutoAnything.com!

I am looking very strongly at the se and ordering through eccracer104. Does the lid snap down and hold or must you lock it all the time when you are moving. Thanks

The mechanism that holds the lock twists 90 degrees, which extends two arms underneath the lid so they slide under brackets attached near the tailgate. When you lock the mechanism it prevents it from being turned. So securing the lid and locking the lid are two separate things. I often secure but don't lock the lid when I don't have anything inside, especially if my keys aren't in my hand. Even if you haven't secured the lid it stays pretty tightly closed due to the pneumatic pistons that support it when open. But I'd recommend securing it every time. By the way I thought it would be a pain in the ass to have a separate key but it's on my key chain with my ignition key and it's not really an issue. I just keep the spare with the spare ignition.
