Mass air flow sensor cleaner ?

    The thing that works best is not attempting to clear your MAF/MAS at all. The internet is plagued with people who took perfectly good working sensors, attempted to clean them, and then had to order a new replacement because it was ruined. Tacoma sensors tend to fall on the delicate/finicky side of the graph too so I personally wouldn't mess with it. Just drive the truck and when it's time to replace it, replace it. Besides, it's really not one of those devices that will reward you with better operation, performance or longevity if cleaned anyway.

    Just my $0.04 adjusted for inflation.

    I did though mess with front drive line zerk on the rear..........

    OMG........what a PIA to get the grease gun on that zerk.......

    I can go off topic right ? Is there an easy way. ?

    If you clean your maf properly you will cause no harm.

    Maf works by having a heated little resistor that changes resistance due to airflow over it. Dust / oil etc gets caked on the leading edge of this and causes a small insulating layer that messes with measurements.

    I bought a can of MAF cleaner a while ago and realized that the MAF sensor wasn't really dirty when I took it out to spray it. I now have a bottle of MAF cleaner that I use every now and then to clean a clean MAF sensor because damn it, I have a bottle I need to empty.

    CRC maf cleaner is fine. Or just regular non-chlorinated brake cleaner.
