Has anyone tried or have used pro comp type 252 series 15" or 16" wheels with BF goodrich KO2?

Trying to find wheel size with KO2 tires that won't rub for a stock 17 tacoma off road. I'm looking to upgrade my wheels for a little larger set. I'm open for any opinions please and thank you.

Pretty sure most 15inch wheels won't fit a 3rd gen without some, possibly a decent amount of shaving of caliper I think it is

Steel wheels are a downgrade in terms of weight and durability from stock. Going 265/75/R16 in KO2 E-load is a significant weight increase from stock. Both equal less power, mpg, braking and reduced durability.

A better option would be to look at some lighter and stronger 17” OEM alloys and run 265/70/R17 KO2s in C-load which are significantly stronger than stock without the weight of the heavy E-loads.

Side note... The 252 totally doesn't clear the caliper at least on the front. They do sit flush with the fender though so that's a plus. Debating on shaving so I can put them on tomorrow, or figuring out how much I need to space them out.
