Wasn't even going to upgrade until I saw this...now I've got a box full of Hitachi shocks with less than 4,000 miles on them, all pavement.

Same here. No intention of messing with the suspension until I saw this deal. Too good to pass up! That's why I grabbed a set right off the bat. It is a perfect amount of lift for me and the ride is way better.

anyone else have a "thump" going over bumps? Like the shock is topping out. Everything is tight, no idea what it is.

Where did you order from? Did you make sure you didn't get the Baja kits?

No odd noises here. Is it coming from the front or rear? Did you verify nothing worked itself loose?

    I'd hope not with a 2017...

I can't recall anything out of the ordinary. I really don't know what I'm looking for though...

no. my original post was comparing Rogue's $800 price to 6112/5100 rear. you give up the rear resi shock, but gain more adjustability in the front over the PTR13-35150. Headstrong lets me put that combo in in my cart for $811.98. Wheeler's has it for $819. Other posters say that it's sold out. If it was my $, that's what I would choose for $800 instead of sending my $ to the vendor who doesn't appear to have a long term interest in the doing business with this community. I bought and have installed the PTR13-35150, so I'm down the road.

I bought the Energy Suspension 9.4101g 0” body mounts for the front, will do them when I put on the suspension.

Would love to know the thickness of our rear shock bushings to order from Energy as well.

Side note, Conicelli has any 10 Toyota oil filters for $30. TRDPRO5 for 5% should work too. Just saying.

$1024, includes 1/4 spacers no strut assembly from headstrong.

    SUSPENSION.jpg
$987 from Rogue if you include a 1" spacer with struts pre-assembled.

i think you are missing the nuance of my position. I'm teaming the 6112 with the 5100s, not the 5160 and that's why I wrote "I'd buy the 6112/5100 combo and give up the resi on the rear for full ride height adjustability on the front." The operative being I'd give up the resi to keep the price at $800ish. This combo appears to to readily available at that price point.

the "Besides, everybody has the PTR13-35150 now." is a play on

"No one goes there nowadays, it’s too crowded." Yogi Berra.

But to save time, let's just go with you are right and I am wrong.

I’d still buy from HS or Wheelers based solely on principle, but that’s just me :notsure:

Just ordered my set from Rogue Offroad with the additional 1" spacer, 3 leaf AAL in the rear, and Camburg Uniball UCA's. I am coming to the realization that leaf spring clamp's in the rear need to be cut? Anyone in the North Carolina/Ft Bragg region on here willing to lend a helping hand?
