Should I even consider a set of aluminum skids and an aluminum front low-profile winch bumper (instead of steel)? I’m just worried that after winch, sliders, roof rack, and bed rack w/ gear I might weigh down my suspension if I go with all steel armor. I hear conflicting opinions on sag and performance for my specific setup when adding weight to the build. Any thoughts? Barely 200 miles on my 2018 Pro, and it’s time to break it in!

You will definitely sag if you go for steel. If you go aluminum, you will not.

The pro suspension will fair much better imo. Steel will give you the best bang for your buck but can be heavy. Aluminum is more expensive and lighter but not as strong as steel. I have a steel skid and steel sliders on my TRD OFFROAD and noticed very little change in suspension.

Glad you brought this up, because I noticed in the pro the front already has a rake so putting a winch and bumper in the front is going to load up that front end.

I hope for some more input from other members! Armor will be installed no matter what, but I am interested in what effect it will have.
