Manual Transmission to Auto

I drop from 6th to 4th when I'm going to overtake on a two lane. It's funny how you can really feel the power once you hit the upper power band. Every slight tap on the pedal just goes.

 

I'm only 27 and I am at that point in life where I know I'm going to either pick up all of the manuals I can or order custom and shell out the money. I'd rather just get them now.

 

You know what's funny? I never wanted to be a car guy growing up. Now I'm getting older I'm wanting to collect and have some exotics...rough life.

 

I would have never purchased the Tacoma if it wasn't for the manual.

Also, any guy making excuses that "their wife needs to drive the truck" so it needs to be an automatic should hand in their man card right now. I think I'd divorce before I give up the manual.

 

i can see that excuse if you only could buy one car and you both pitched in equally to buy it.

 

Obviously you're not married or have been married, marriage = compromise, if the said married couple only has one car, and your girl doesn't know how to drive a stick, I'm pretty sure you're not going to divorce her over a small factor, especially if it's some good pussy. I'll take that any day over a fucking transmission. Just my honest opinion. Or if it's really a factor, buy your girl an auto and get you the manual, that's what I did. Problem solved and you still get the pussy. Just saying

 

I found a woman who was driving a 5 speed on our first date. Didn't take her much training and she was backing the boat trailer down the ramp, and running the boat up on to the trailer.
Problem solved.
