    Morning all, happy Saturday!

Too much on the honey do list to complete in one day. Maybe I'll start each project and not finish any...
It should get into the low 50 today, I'm itching to get some range time in.
Wife & daughter are going to watch the PBR in Worcester this afternoon.

    Professional Bull Riders...

Edit: the downside is that wifey gets all hot & bothered by the young cowboys and comes home expecting, well you know... I'm tired from playing in the garage all day, not really interested, you know getting older; and have seen that one trick pony a few times to many... ;)

Went to put dogs out, opened door and took in mouth full of fresh air,,,,,skunk.
Dogs had to wait a little before going out.
Never did see the stink kitty, I still have that taste in my mouth. Need to drink more coffee.
Did see alot of deer come down the hill.

Good morning. Waiting for Costco to open and taking the oldest OCD son there for cleaning supplies. Took the youngest to the grocery store last night for a truck load of groceries. The oldest says if he is going to be snowed in he wants more cleaning supplies. Finally learning to live with that, it isn't such a bad thing.

Got the driveway as clean as I am going to before the next round hits in a few hours. Rest of the ice can stay until after the next one blows over

    truck drive.jpg

Took hours to make the path up the side for the UPS guy to deliver the salt yesterday. Finished up what I could this morning using a root cutter as an ice chipper and flat blade shovel and had enough.

Standing by for that fickle bitch Mother Nature. 10° right now so hoping more snow than ice, at least for another base. Don't trust her though.

Not once I went with Calcium Chloride. All the other stuff yes it kills the vegetation and I've tried them all even that supposedly safe ethanol corn byproduct crap. There is still some of the road salt that melts off the underside of the truck so there are usually a small few patches along the edges that I struggle with in the spring. No free lunch though the Calcium Chloride is OK for vegetation but hell on metal, worse than rock salt. The garage is heated and tied into the boilers thermostat for the lower level of the house so can't turn it off. So would just be a rust catalyst if I parked in the garage.

I'm still seeing critters still sporting full racks around here.
Saw 3 bucks last week alone on my way to work with both antlers.

The clock guy said he's thinking about selling one of his Roadrunners. The 440 six pack one. The orange one.
Figure I'd let you in on that just in case you want a few more cubic inches.
No, I didn't even ask how much.

In another month shed hunters will be walking through my place with shed trained dogs looking for dropped racks. I'm fine with that, as long as they ask first so I can put my dog inside to prevent any dog confrontations. But they never do ask permission. Damn kids get the hell off the lawn and out of my woods! Unless you ask first. The new generation doesn't seem to be well trained in manners or respect for other peoples property anymore.
