    Sometimes it won’t complete successfully for me - I just leave the ignition on and and retry til it takes. Seems sometimes there’s a timeout where a packet gets hung up somewhere but it will write eventually just keep retrying

    It took someone in the MT thread multiple attempts before it was successful. Others had to swap laptop in order for it to work.

    Just flashed the ecu and tcu, took about 5 min for ecu, 2 min for tcu. Really straight forward, love the flash manager. I don’t have to keep multiple copies in a flash drive, emailed, a CD, just in case I lose it. Haha! Also had the hiccup when I first plugged everything in and tried flashing the ecu, it said unsuccessful, then just hit retry and it went through fine.

    Could be onto something - my b02 stock calibration came from Baja in a TRD assembled after yours

    Based on reading this, I really don't know what Toyota was up to when they were designing and sending out these trucks. My '16 SR5 was built in July '16 and bought in August '16 and it already was running B403. Makes you wonder if Toyota was still testing different platforms in the ECU during production or just threw some dice to see which platform went into each truck...? Another thought is were they already downloading B403 on the lower level trucks like mine, but not yet doing this on the TRD models? or did it have something to do with the facility where the truck was put together? Mine was assembled in San Antonio. Where are the TRD models assembled? Just some thoughts....

    I must add that Toyota did think to add the Go Pro mount to the windshield, but gave us a shitty stock tune/driving experience. At least that way all the videos shot on the Go Pro will have some colorful driver commentary. That's priorities.

    At any rate, thank you Mat @ OVTune for making this truck what it was really supposed to be. You ROCK!!! :cheers::burnrubber:

    Will definitely write a good review for 1.03 in the next couple days but for now after my drive home from work all I can say is holy shit*t..!
    You should be very proud @OVTune because this was well worth the wait. Happy customer right here. Thanks for your hard work on this Matt!
    But seriously OVTune stickers..

    I’m going to try to get to it this afternoon. If you watch the original
    Flashing video I made;

    • Ignore all of the parts about reading your ECU and sending it to matt
    • Use flash manager to get your files, it’s really really simple.
    • Start at 2:18 on the video for flashing instructions
    Today I’m going buy a new zero turn mower then going to try out some light towing!

    some of you guys will likely experience during first start or first few starts the idle will be going up and down around 200-300 RPM. This is the idle learning phase, easiest way to have the idle do it's learning is let the truck sit from a cold start for 10 minutes, don't touchy anything not even in the brake. Let it relearn idle throttle

    Can someone run me through the pros and cons between the 87 and 91 octanes tunes other than price? This has probably already been discussed already, so if you just wanted to link me to the post, that works too, thanks!

    All I can say WOW. this tune is night and day different from 1.02a. Only have about 20 miles but u can tell a big diffence in the throttle and gears. I’ll need more driving though. Good job @OVTune!!
