Same rearview mirror issues in the 2015 as the 2014's?

    mjackson92rs: Does that have homelink with that mirror? Also, do you have a link from where you got it?

    Also, after I posted my original comment, I went and pulled out the overhead console and I saw the wires sitting there. I still cannot believe the dealership was going to charge me that much money to literally plug in a wire.

    I saw from your pic that you have the compass and temp in your mirror. Did you have to run a sensor for the temp or is there one already installed on the truck?

    My DCBLB TRD SPORT 4WD came with the jane mirror. BS if you ask me. My 2011 Sr5 non TRD even had a auto dim.

    Step tubes,Window tint, HomelinK rear view mirror, changed the entune image screen Rear Differential Breather Relocation Extended AC condensate hose KB Voodoo tailgate cap Redline Tuning QuickLIFT ELITE hood lift system.
    My 14 came with the plain mirror, I replaced it with the homelink.

    My 15 came per wired. I purchased a new 453 mirror from Bob, it came with all wiring.
    You need to mount the temp probe. I now have Auto dim, homelink, temp and compass. Bob is the go to guy for
    mirrors.

    Can you explain the function on how to show the outside temp gauge?? I have the homelink mirror/compass but no outside temp... Thanks!!

    Even though the truck is presided under the headliner for the mirror, you will need to run a separate wire with a thermometer to the grill in the front. When I purchased my homelink mirror it cane with the extra wire to run. You will not get temp without and the Tacoma’s do have this prewired.

    If you have the wire and have run it then I would double check connections and reset the mirror.
