So back over the summer when I installed the lift I also put on new brakes. I got the EBC Stage 5 kit and they are already shot. Anyone else have theirs wear out very quickly? I am about to buy new brakes and rotors but am trying to decide if I want to go back to OEM or give these another shot. Any input or feedback?

Mine is squealing every time I hit the brakes and my rotors are cut pretty deep. The pads dont have much left so I dont know. Maybe Im just to damn hard on them.

Slotted rotors will eat pads faster, and more aggressive pads will wear down the rotor faster.

Welp, resealing the gaskets in my shell windows was a partial success. Driver side got through the rain yesterday fine. Passenger side, not so much. So right now I’ve stopped 100% of the leaks 50% of the time.

    :anonymous:

Trying one last technique today; if that doesn’t work I’m going to go with the Mad Max approach and just start bolting crap to the outside of the shell until it stops leaking or flips over from the extra weight.

My driver side that was fixed a few weeks ago is still bone dry. My passenger side is currently in my basement letting the silicone dry and I'll be putting that back on the truck when it stops raining.

Lol I don't think the install was the reason they were leaking.
