What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Easy half of the Trd Pro suspension upgrade done, front's tomorrow(maybe)...

And yeah, the blocks are next to go once I decide on a leaf spring...

 

Added some LED pods today. Got the kit from Cali Raised LED.

 

TRD Pro (actually T/X Baja) suspension came in! Now I just need some Dakars and I'll be good to go!

 

Installed tow hooks, yellow fogs, winch, winch license flip up plate, fog switch.

 

Installed my Gear Tech Customs, PROTEC 2nd Gen Tacoma Splash Guards These things are awesome, great fit .

Then also installed my Baja Designs yellow lens, I like the look better than the clear lens.

I have the standard Pelfreybilt bumper with tire gate. It does have a locking pin when open and has a pretty beefy locking mechanism (with a pin). So far, haven't experienced anything weird. That being said, I would love to have a Dual Swingout option!

 

Related in-so-much that I get to now park the truck in our assigned outdoor spot:

Managed to clear out enough space in our tiny-ass garage to fit my partner's car. Not too much of a fan of it, but the HOA is being a thorn in our side (to put it lightly)

 

Got almost an identical setup - love mine so far! Great choices!

 

I went with the Icon RXT setup - pretty good if you are running stuff in the back of your truck often, but they are a bit on the expensive side

So you have a 2013, anything special you had to do? I have the mirror with the backup camera and temp/compass. It says it’s designed for the standard, non-electric, rear view mirror for the Gen II Tacoma. I’m guessing you just need to pay attention to the wiring when removing?

Does anyone know where this bracket on the passenger side of the front bumper is supposed to attach to?

 

I believe it's a stabalizer for the bumper cover but it's pretty bent up

 

I'm quoting you, but speaking to the masses also- does anyone have a picture of what it's supposed to look like? I'm hoping to bend it back and make it work.

 

My crash bar is in the rafters of the garage let me see if I can get a pic it'll be a few minutes
