Hey everybody. I've posted on the two TRD threads about the now sold out/hard to get TRD 6112/5160 Bilsteins.

1st video - I wanted to show my ordeal but I focused more on the AAL since that's the hardest part of the entire install and my battery died before being able to get the rest of the footage. (technical difficulties)

2nd video - Follow up video and test at Holy Jim

3rd video - Taco lean was still present for me so I fixed it. Also footage of the front suspension work to install spacer. Ends up being the same as swapping out for another coil.

Let me know if you have any questions

All 3 videos are posted below.

Will you be recording at Holy Jim? Would like to know how it fairs. One of my set is coming in on Wednesday and planning to have it installed either Thursday or Monday the following week.

Rob - what's the need for the spacer? I thought the front coilovers already compensated for the taco lean?

Thanks Rob. I'm installing mine (2nd Gen) the first week of April. I'm trying to make sure I've got everything I need. I went with the HS 3 leaf progressive AAL for the rear. I'll skip the spacer for now and wait and see how she leans when I'm done. Sweet ride btw and thanks for all the vids!

Sounds good. Just take a measurement how much lean you have and if it's 1/2 inch or less you should be good.

If you're doing it yourself, get a extra pair of hands to help. They don't need to be techy. Just muscle. Lol

Thanks for checking ito my videos.. got one about the spacer coming up and actual footage of front removal.

Ok. After installing a @HeadStrong Off-Road 1/4 inch spacer and getting my THIRD alignment at Firestone I think I got Hard Shell Taco dialed in. I did a vid on the spacer and since I had technical difficulty on my vlog video of the front install... so I did more details on how to put the spacer on. You're basically taking it apart like a swap.

And I did it under an hour including working in the rain. lol.

Glad you like it. I'm just happy I didn't have too many issues but to do it again wasn't a fun thing.

It's a Headstrong product. I saw the quality and packing the AAL was so I knew the spacer was going to be good too. It's aluminum and anodized so there won't be any corrosion issues. here's the link https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p31/HS_1/4"_Top_Plate_Spacer_-_TT05514-TPS.html
