Received the tonneau cover today. It was boxed up well and the cardboard was in pretty good shape for getting shipped from CA to CT.

So far, I'd definitely recommend purchasing this cover! It seems great especially for the price!

I installed it during my lunch break today and it came with all the hardware. It used blind nuts in the track and "J" shaped aluminum brackets mounted to them to secure the 4 fastening hooks on the bottom of the panels. Looks a lot like the rugged hard fold. The fasteners used to secure to the truck are threaded for adjustability and have a cam type lock where you get it lined up with the inverted J- bracket and then flip the lever to 'lock' it down.

It came with additional weather stripping to make the tailgate weather tight and it had a nice thick seal at the rear which almost contacts my mobtown offroad strengthened tailgate cover. I'll post more pics this weekend.

That looks pretty good. I’d be interested in more pics of how it is installed.

Here is the longer of the 3 brackets on each side with 1 of the blind nuts. The longer bracket is for the rear of the bed where the factory track doesn't quite reach back as far as the anchoring point for the last flap of the tonneau cover.

Here is the right rear side of the anchor point.

Here it is installed (started getting some frost on it last night!)

Here is the gasket against my tailgate. It has the slightest gap here since I have a lower profile than OEM top on the tailgate.

How is it holding up to rain and snow, is it staying dry inside?

A couple of drips but not bad! (Although I don't know what is acceptable since this is my first bed cover.) It poured today and I drove 30 miles through it about 24 on the expressway.

@Armed in Utah - I’m looking at these as well. What did you get and how does it mount? I’m not interested in a convoluted anchoring system that looks like a dozen C clamps of crazyness.

So I had ordered one of these. Arrived much faster than estimated (3 days vs 8). Finally got around to opening up the box and it looks like either the wrong cover was packaged or the wrong hardware. Instructions were for a Ford F-150 and hardware included 6 'S' brackets and some self-tapping hardware.

Sent an email to the seller so I'll update with what happens.

Check out post #6 above. The first picture is the bracket that is long for the rear of the bed. The other brackets were shorter as shown in the distance of the 2nd pic in post #6.

I never did hear from him, but pulled the trigger on a North Mountain rollup off eBay @ $141 based on reviews and watching a few install videos that impressed me with the design over the other brand/styles in that market/price range. I’ll report back once I have it and installed.

Any word on how it's holding up? About to purchase one for my truck.

So far so good! The rubber on the seams hasn't split or cracked (although the double sided tape wasn't put on perfectly that affixed it). No leaks to speak of and i have had it off and on my truck at least a dozen times.

Awesome! That's great to hear. I can't justify $800 on one, but $300 is in my ballpark.

Wow, clearly I vaped on this thread. I bought the NorthMountain ShortBed Rollup of eBay (~$125) and it came in a long pullstring bag in a decently strong box. It wasn't very complicated to install (just lay everything out first), my only comment here would be I wish it was better quality bolts (it uses cap head (allen) chrome coated). Maybe take one to HomeDepot/Lowes/Ace and get replacement Stainless ones. I would also use anti-sieze since it's going into a stamped steel block in the channel. The fitment is nice and it is holding up well. I have not had to adjust anything from out the box. My other comments are that the two stabilizer bars are only held in by velcro and tend to move side to side (other brands solve this by using a rivet). It's not a big deal, but you will need to pay attention everytime you recover. There are other ways to solve this... velcro/screw/glue/tape) if you feel it's that bothersome. The other is that I found the front bed header was a bit higher than the side rails. This does not allow for the side rails to sit flat and seal that front corner/edge. I finagled that and added additional seal/padding to compensate. Each truck is different, so this may not be an issue for you... just be aware, if you are hoping for a pure seal. use a light and check it first. I'm happy to answer any other questions.

@jasonct I bought a similar one for my 3rd gen but it didnt come with any blind nuts or aluminum rail. Did yours come with anyway to contact the manufacturer. Mine had zero paperwork in the box.
