Correct position for the two parts of the detent spring?

    Can anyone please tell me if this is the correct position for the two parts of the detent spring on a 2008 tacoma 4.0 auto transmission? The picture is taken from the driver side and the filter is removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This is a shot before the bolt was snugged. After it was snugged, the rounded part of the spring that goes into the notched piece that moves when you move the gear selector [far left in the picture] was full contact, or seated in the notch [in this case the park position notch]. thumbnail-2.jpg
