The mount I'm sure it was from Cheaper than dirt or Brownells ? One thing for sure not all red dots are interchangeable ... JP & Vortex are, Mounts mounting are different from adjustable and non adjustable sight pistols ... Makes shooting so much Fun again!

Lol I agree, sorry about that ...
I did find some on ebay under (Burris FastFire/Vortex Venom Sight Mount for Ruger Revolvers) most of the other sites I checked on was in back order, hope that helps .... I like the Burris Fast Fire 3 for outside shooting it comes with a see though cover which helps with the sun glare .... I had to do something to make it easier to see the targets to shoot at lol my eyes wouldn't adjust on the front and rear sights at the same time when looking at the target, now all I do is put the dot on target and pull the trigger. You can on most of the red dots change/adjust the size of the dot for the target .... Hope this info helps you all out!

My GP100 is the Wiley Clapp model and has novak sights so I do not have the screwed on rear sight. I love my EoTech on my AR and my red dot on my SUB2000

I have to admit that don't understand the judge, for anybody who doesn't live in snake country. I mean, the 410 slugs are underpowered and less accurate than a pistol round. The 'buck & ball' rounds are MUCH less accurate and carry even less energy. The .45LC rounds make decent power but the frame on the gun itself is annoyingly bulky to carry; a snubnosed .357 takes up less space and makes more power. I can definitely see how it'd be useful loaded with birdshot to ruin a snake's day, but for most other uses it seems like there are better options out there. :notsure:

One of the first real reasons to own that gun. Most people seem to buy them either as a novelty toy or because they believed the hype that it was the latest greatest best home defense gun ever, a pistol that shoots shotgun shells.

Like I said, it makes sense in snake country, so it makes sense for you.

The 649 in the middle is my EDC. Wife carries the LCR.

This is my cheap little .22 single action. Bought it to save money on the range and give my son something easy for him to shoot.

Do you guys carry with .357's or with hot .38's? If I had a snub revolver for an EDC I'd have that debate with myself; go for the .357's for the extra oomph, or go with the .38's for the faster followup shot? Decisions...
