Turns out 2005-2009 use a different grille emblem than 2010+ so I'm still in need of a grille emblem if anyone has one laying around they'd like to sell.

Is there anything wrong skipping the wiring harness that comes with the ARB air locker compressor and just wiring the positive/negative from the unit itself to a switch I already have in the cab?

The compressor has a high amperage draw. You want to minmize the wiring with that wattage to only your engine bay. I would not route the wiring through your cab.
Use the harness and relay setup that came with the compressor.

Do you have a fuse in line?

The harness has a relay to control the load that the compressor needs to run. You dont want that amount of power running to a switch.

I was going to run 12-gauge wire from the compressor to my sPOD in the engine bay. The wiring would run along the frame of the track. The sPOD fuses/relays should be enough, no?

I would say yes, depending on their ratings but in that case you’re not running the load of the compressor to the switch. You’re just opting for the sPod over the ARB harness. It’s the same idea, just more fancy.

    I did this.

I bypassed the ARB wiring harness completely and used an 80 amp relay in the engine bay. Details in my build, links on page 1
