This doesn’t mean it’s legal to do so. Only that he officers didn’t want to bother siting you for it.

There's something go on. The shunt line between the grill and the hood is way off. Plus genuine Toyota bumpers have the holes for the plate pre punched.

Not the frame, but a cover. Like those bro looking tinted covers people put on = not legal. It can obstruct the view and make it harder to read the plate, which I guess is the point...

Not all frame area legal. Only those that do not obstruct or block the state or number/letter are legal.

I would think that should be obvious.

I have enough friends/family inlaw enforcement, that no, I probably wouldn’t be surprized at people’s ability to be stupid. I hear of a LOT of the “I didnt know that was illegal” and that really doesn’t go over well with the officers. Your ignorance is not their problem...

My favorite is resting an open beer on the gas tank of your dirtbike riding through the ohv staging area, even giving the ranger a nod and a toast as he passes. That guy didn’t finish his ride... turns put he had MANY other violations, maybe even a warrant iirc...

I always think about it ending up in someone's forehead in an accident...
