So I was attempting to replace the switch in my DCSB TRD OR for the fog lights.

As you know there is no indicator light either on the dash cluster or the switch itself that tells you if your fogs are on. Disclaimer yes I am a bit OCD and have some quirks :notsure:

Anyways, I bought the oem switch that has the indicator light on the switch and the corresponding plug to fit it, BUT when I got everything plugged together I ran into a problem.

So I ran the power and ground wires for the indicator light of the switch (not the backlight that comes on for all the switches and buttons, but the light that tells you something is on when pressed). I ran the ground (pin 6) to pin 4 of the switch which is ground and I ran the power (pin 5) to pin 3 which is supposed to be power to the fogs completing the circuit.

When I did this the fogs were on all of the time (ie the switch did nothing) but the indicator light would be illuminated when unpressed and not illuminated when pressed.

    Can anybody help with this

Also I should note that I don't want to do the anytime fog mod because I don't want to bend the pieces to the relays and screw anything up too bad.
