    ok iam new here and maybe i should be at another theard but here is my question...
    iam getting the rear leaf tsb on my 08 will they replace the shocks if there worn out?

    have not gotten anything from toyota on the tsb on rear springs yet, does this affect all 08's or just certain models

    Fight em on it! There will be no denying it on there end so just get all mad and they should take care of ya...but again don't look for it. Alot of guys have been disappointed with Toyotas service lately :eek:

    You have to look at the TSB-Used to be that NON TRD truck got new shocks- but I'm not sure any more. It's not related to wear tho...If you managed to wear your shocks out in 2 years....That's intense use.

    This is one of those fine detail things....If your dealership is attentive..They might say "You have a TRD but you swapped the shocks out already- So it's your problem"
    Or they might just look at the shocks and see that they aren't TRD shocks and just replace them.

    You bought it with the TRD OR package...and didn't get the TRD shocks?? Or you bought it used with whatever shocks are in it now??

    Either way- The shocks replacement was not to replace worn shocks- it was to improve the ride and handling with the upgraded lead pack.
