Everything worked great. My truck is now officially running the TRD flash. I was also able to re-write my VIN into the used ECU.

What's the part number for the ECM? I found 89661-04G60 on ebay. Is that the same as yours?

Yes, that is the number I removed and the number I installed. 89661-04G60 or 89661-04G61 are for 2013 or 2014 AT 4.0.

I need to hold off for a bit, if anyone else is interested and wants to jump on the cable thats ok with me. I have so many decisions I need to make right now. Things are beyond complicated... Sorry for the delay man.

That's ok. Just trying to figure out what I got for money to get parts to finish my truck so I can finally take it out this spring.

I'm still new to the Tacoma world, so you pay for the cable and you also need to pay for a subscription to use the software? I have a Audi that I purchased a Vagcom cable for around $300 but I never had to pay for any type of subscription to use it.... Same deal basically you can get in and change all kinds of things from how the headlights adjust to even adding options like rolling windows down with the key fob and back up aswell. Also all of the diagnostic tests just plug and play lol
