I had to go back and find this post just to thank you. I can't believe I spent so much time troubleshooting this issue. I unhooked the trailer harness a few days ago and it hasn't come back up. I'll probably pull the harness out to find the root of the problem.

That makes sense, I'm guessing it was getting water into it anyway. Is there anywhere I can get a relatively cheap one that hooks up the same as the OEM?

Easy to clean I just pressure wash it mine has more of a orange peel look to it. You can play with different pressures and get different textures. Super easy to clean sometimes with the red clay I use a large car wash brush and just car wash soap come right off. It also has a uv protection you add to it when mixing. You mix 4 parts together paint, uv protector, activator and the compound.

Guys anyone every had a skip on there 2.7 no check engine lights. It’s seems to cut in and out at any speed. I just replaced both coils, plug wires, egr modulator and valve, mass air flow sensor and all vacuum hoses!! It was doing this before I did all this! Only thing I haven’t checked is fuel pump. I have replaced the fuel filter about 6 months ago.

Same experiences with mine. Need to use a brush depending on the type of mud or if its been awhile. But otherwise easy to keep clean.

    yes..

but don't do it like that. Stupid routing the intake tube right over the top of the freaking turbo. Defeats the whole point of having an intercooler.

lol i'll post more up today i was just tired and sore from lifting the bumper with the winch in it.

it took me and my dad 5 hours to do it. but he kept bitching the entire time, plus i had to "clock" the winch a couple of times. but i sorted out the bolts in sandwich bags the day before. helped out alot, once you start its fairly easy just keep the mounts little loose so you can slide the bumper on those big brackets.

Finished wiring the winch, turn signals and spooled the winch line on while I was at work on some down time. The line isn't on there at tension I just guided it on with my hand. I need to get a new battery anyway, I'm currently on a 575cca getting a optima yellowtop next week so one reason why I just did it that way. But I'm overall happy with the bumper and winch :)

You’re welcome! Try to find an LED specific trailer harness. That seemed to help my problem.

I don’t have a winch yet so won’t have to deal with that this time.

One other question did you have to cut anything? I’ve heard yes and I’ve heard no to cutting

Only thing I had to cut was on the stock bumper. On the sides we're it grabs on to a stud. It prevented me from taking the stock bumper off. But beyond that no it was a easy bolt process.
