Mine seems to struggle at interstate speeds. Granted I have not helped it by running 265/75/16s and leveling it probably did not help the aerodynamics? But guess it goes with what is said, it would be the same if loaded and now thinking about it, it has never seemed much different loaded than as the dd. Learn something here all the time never realized that.
So we are supposed to have a electronic Overdrive on the 5mt how does this work on a manual trans?
I run 23mpg on secondary roads but only seem to be able to get like 17 to 19 at 70ish mph.
Seems like 80 it’s way better but the tickets eat the savings.

i have zero issues. drove 3500 miles with 4 people and gear with out issue to MT. Been to the appalacians. no problem. spent time in the rockies with out issue. just have to grab a lower gear as needed. ie, I70 west out of denver, 3rd gear is a good gear. mt evans or pikes peak... 2nd gear is useful. appalations.. 3rd and 4th did the trick.

Damm yea I’m sure it will do it and that it’s just my driving style.
What rpms and speed you doing?
And I am talking rush hour interstate crap I tend to get caught climbing and don’t downshift soon enough. Tomorrow when I go in to work for 5 am I won’t have any issues. So I guess it’s not me it’s them.

Whatever the speed limit is plus five. Don't know rpm's, but on I70 in 3rd she gets wound up.

I guess that's true, but there's a lot in CO above 11,000'. Heck, even I-70 goes over 11k.
