It's been discussed before, the new trucks have different transmission mapping. There is a tsb for the 16-17s.

It's taking about 8 weeks to get my truck. Started process start of Feb, build date is early March, Delivery by end of March. For the exact configuration you want I say it's worth it, but so hard to be patient!

The Dealer kept the cost of the new truck the same as well as the Trade In even though there was a couple thousand more miles on in.

I was planning on trading my previous truck in when my Tacoma arrived from the factory. I ended up selling it outright for several thousand more than they offered me as a trade. The dealership said that it would take 4-6 weeks for my truck to hit the dealership. It showed up in 3 weeks so it all worked out in the end.
I can’t imagine them legitimately giving you less on your trade after only 2 months.

yeah, he's looking for other options to locate and found some, but they have added packages. If they aren't hugely more expensive I might pull the trigger. I'm financing anyways ;)

Picked up on Saturday, installed my 265/70/17 tires (no lift yet). 30mi into my first drive on Sunday in the wet and road grime, the radar cruise quit due to dirt on the sensor. Didn't know how to set it up to regular cruise so I had to drive the rest of the way without it. This is just my opinion, the third gen built in Baja that I have is not made as well as my second gen I traded in. You can catch light in gaps and places where I did not on the second gen like the fender liners and when you put a little pressure on the bed sides you can hear it rubbing against the bed liner. With all the constant bitching on here about the automatics I was prepared to drive the automatic and not just set it and forget it. So I used ECT in town in D and then S mode on the freeway and kept it in 5th, because I was on I-5 and was limited to 60. I am ridiculously happy with my 2018, I knew there was some stuff going in and I felt like I had a realistic expectation and that really helped. The TSS stuff is a PITA and I will disengage the radar cruise and I don't have the LDA or PCS turned on.

Magnusson-Moss warranty act protects you in those instances.

the dealer will do it, they just want you to sign a waiver saying the TSS might not work correctly.

You may like some of the extra options they find on 1, the P&T on mine is awesome!
