Shit I plan one beating my bumper to hell & back before I replace it. Scratches happen if you offroad... What the problem? Unless your looking for an excuse the that's a different story lol

 

Since the weather was nice in New York today I decided to clean up a few things around the truck. I took off the cover for the tailgate because who ever owned the truck before me used it as a work bench. I know it’s supposed to get beat up but it never hurts to keep the truck clean. I also used the Bedliner paint to paint the step on the bumper. While doing this I found a cable for a back up camera. I have a base model and I’m now wondering if I buy a back up camera will it just be plug and play.

 

I have damage in the same Exact part of my bumper too.

 

Doesn't everyone use their Tacoma tailgates as work benches?

 

Yes I do too but there were a lot of cuts on it from the circular saw

 

A couple of years ago, I plasti-dipped my emblems, and since then they have gradually started to chip. Very minor, but decided to just replace them with the already black ones found online. Getting the adhesive off where the original emblems were took the longest, but I just used Adhesive Remover spray from Turtle Wax and a butter knife. Eventually did the trick. Left a little ghosting so I knew where to apply the new emblems. Good to go!

 

Anybody have a solution on how to keep the back up camera clean just daily driving ?
Mines alway getting dirty I whip it off then next time I look it's dirty

It stopped raining long enough today to do a quick detail to the whole truck and repair rock chips on the hood.
