Is he gonna keep the 01 if he picks that one up?

Not sure. I wouldn't doubt it though. He's quite the collector.

I've been asking him if he wants to build it for a while.

All he says is "I want it jacked up"

Haha, my dad is so awesome. He will always keep them mostly stock but loves the modified ones.

Been trying to get him to come out with us sometime. Hopefully he will soon. He'd love to see everybody's rigs.

Hell yes! You need to get him to come out so we can meet him and let him check out all the trucks:D

He has a prerunner right? He sounds like a prime candidate for some spindles. Once you get him started modding.. everything will spiral out of control:bananadance:

    Definitely!
I think picking up the 2nd gen and going full LT race kit with a small block on the '01 is the only right way to do this.

    :D
^ Literally what I've been telling him for 2yrs now.

I couldnt agree more! Ive been wanting to put some spindles on mine lately. But my wallet is already pissed at me :bananadead:

Whenever i finally do get around to doing it though.. i may need to ask a favor of you.. id like to see if the fj wheels i have would fit on there with the spindles as that would be a make or break for me. I read on the maxtrac site today that you have to have 4.75” of backspacing or less, and i think mine are right around 4.5 and 15mm offset

Sounds like a good plan! You know I'm a huge advocate of the spindle lifts. They just look so damn good (IMO) and the clearance is unreal.

Absolutely man! Its extremely hard to beat them for the price and the fact that you can retain the stock ucas and stack more lift on top of that if you want. I also like the fact that youre beefing up the one thing on these tacos that is a weak link. The maxtracs are way beefier than stock!:muscleflexing::curls:
