Installed a 2” eibach prokit from toytec this morning, now I’m sitting waiting on 285 75 16 K02s to be mounted. Install took about 2 hours with only previously having installed a Toytec kit on my FJ Cruiser. Just followed instructions from a OME install video on YouTube. If there is rubbing I will body mount chop it tomorrow and hammer the pinch welds. I did it on my fj cruiser so no worries there.

Looks good. Get those 285s on there. Think you will need spacers also for stock rims..

Yea man, I read that we will see..hopefully they don’t rub too much so I can still drive while I order those spacers. But if I throw spacers on there I am sure I will have to chop it, we will see

Got the tires put on and when turning they would rub on the upper control arm. Luckily next door to the discount Tire was an autozone and I picked up cheap 1/4” universal spacers and rub is gone. Really feel good about the truck, $450 for the front coilovers and $211 per tire. I like it low and big tires, white letters out!! Maybe in future I will buy some shocks for the rear but for now stock will do. This week I will swing by Toyota and get it aligned so I can throw my A-arm skids back on.

I’ve only had them on a couple days, and haven’t been off-road with them yet. Day to day driving the manners of the truck haven’t changed it just sits a little taller now. Which is all good for me since I live a good way from work so I didn’t want something too aggressive

I've been looking at this kit.... Bought my truck new, and it came with a revtek lift and 275/70R18. Everything fits well, bit on large bumps or drop offs my suspension tops out (loud clunk) I have hope a coil over kit like the Eibach would relieve that. Let me know when you encounter some rough stuff. Thanks for the reply.

Here's my rig for reference purposes... my tires are 33x11. Had to remove mudflaps and push inner fender well in up front a touch. (Used a Heat gun) After that, no rubbing at all. Rims are zero offset with 4.5" backspacing. No cab mount chop required.

Looks good man!! I would definitely get rid of the spacer and throw some different setup on whether you buy coilovers, 5100s etc
