has anyone else had this issue?? Took my truck to the beach the other weekend on a very windy day and ever sense I have had sand grinding inside my window mechanism!
Any tips on easy ways to clean it out or to prevent this in the future?

Yep, it’s always an issue. Best scenario I find is when parked on the beach, keep the windows up. When you get home, hose your truck off...get the sand and salt residue off. Eliminates a lot of the grinding issue. Had similiar issue with my ‘10 Wrangler. It is what it is!
