Woke up again this morning to a solid 2" ice rink out the door. Drove to Chico 22miles down the hill and totally sunny. Drove back home and three cars on the way were in the ditch,on on it's lid. About four miles to the house and hit ice and snow on the road. I was passed by an ass load of cars doing 70 plus. Two of them turns out we're racing up in front of me to show how not to drive by going into the ditch.
I love that wave I do when I pass them.

I dont get it. I thought it was common sense to adjust driving according to climate/forecast

I went and got a little bit sideways lol. My frustration came on the freeway downtown. People were going 15mph without any traffic haha

I understand adjusting driving habits. But it wasn’t ice or snow. The road was wet with a tiny bit of hail. You’ll be alright just don’t cause traffic keeping it under 20mph

On cap city right before the arden exit there was so much hail and people freaking out that the traffic almost stopped. Anyways with the combination of heavy hail, rain and slow flow of traffic the hail actually got compacted to ice. My st maxx's were slipping. Sacromentans freak out to any weather change. never happy with the weather. haha

You have confused me. Hail, by definition, is chunks if ice.
So it would make sense to me that people who have no fuckin clue how to drive when its dry would struggle even more when the roads are covered in ice. :notsure:

I may have tweaked a few things...
I purposely avoided the freeway yesterday knowing people would either be driving too slow or too fast. Just drive people, and don't be stupid about it!

    Avoiding freeways.... LOL
I'd never get home if I avoided freeways.
On a slightly related note, don't pass CHP on 80, they tend to not like it. :anonymous:
