Custom LED Map and Dome lights

Ooooooo didn’t know you made more of those! I’m crossing my fingers for the 7 switch lower panel (I really want the upper, lower, and cubby panel, but I’m not sure if I need 19-20 switch locations)

 

I really like these and want to order a set. I thought a while back I remember reading a thread about some guy who put in LED's in his 3rd gen, which caused his ECU or BCM to go toast somehow. I have personally seen LED's play funny tricks on other vehicles, have these been proven safe to use on 3rd gens for a while or has anyone ran into any issues?

 

Chiming in for response to @orangeracer - I was terrified of putting in LEDs after the horror stories on TW about burned out boards, etc.

I have had ZERO issues with these from MESO so not sure if the people reporting LED issues were using inferior products or what final verdict was. Did have one strip of the array flicker this AM but it has since stopped....

One item of note is that I had WeIrDnEsS during the installs that resulted in 1 out of 3 or 2 out of 3 of the Ultimate LEDs working. Resolution seemed to be switching the polarity on the driver side map light.

Really impressed with the quality and customer service from MESO on these.

 

Got my dome installed last night now I just need the V2 red maps, pumped, love it. Super easy!

 

Ultimate dome showed up yesterday,wow what a difference, one of the best inexpensive mods you can do!!!!!

 

Hey MESOJDM, were you planning on making more Ultimate dome lights in white? If so I'm down for 1 dome and 1 ECT mod.

Deucailion just looking for the Big Brite Dome. Got a 3 year old that seems to throw stuff everywhere and the more light I can get the faster he'll get his dinosaurs or matchbox car back!

Right? there is at least one (if not up to ten) post on every page of all of his threads saying "they're ready when they're ready"
