Premium audio, NICE! The Supra originally came with something like that.

I have the Kicker sub under the drivers seat. Only problem is anyone who sits behind the driver has very little room for their feet.

 

No one sits behind me... only the truck fridge.

 

It would probably work for you then. It also has a remote volume knob, so you can quickly turn it down for the little one. I forgot that my sub is an 8" in the Tacoma. 10" is in the other car.

I upgraded just door speakers to Kicker CS series and they sound good to me. Still need to do tweeters and figure out my damn sub. Just an 8" powered sub but I don't need anything crazy. Crutchfield is nice they include speaker mounts and harnesses to fit your truck.

yep, also check out ********* they have a ton of plug and play harnesses for our trucks for amps, stock and aftermarket stereos etc. Would still be easy to upgrade using plug and play but cheaper than the OEM brand stuff it's nice but pricey.

 

You will need a small amp to power some door speakers so that you can get to play to their potential. So there are 2 ways... find speakers you want then find an amp that will power them. Or find an amp that you are willing to pay for then find speakers to work with the amp. The 1st of the 2 options would be the easiest. As for an amp i would recommend an alpine powerpack.

That's badass. Integrating that with the taco tunes speaker and amp setup may be the route I go.

 

Had that in one of my Jeeps. I loved it.

 

I've had a sound ordnance powered sub (very similar but cheaper) sitting in my garage for months. Just needs to be wired.

 

Seems like that one got good reviews too from lots of Tacoma owners. I've had pretty good luck with Kicker products before, so I stuck with the brand I knew.

 

From the poll, it looks like Shannon Brewery on 17th or 18th, and I can definitely make that, although I might have to bring my son, which also means chasing after him the entire time, and not staying too long.
