I was trying to tighten down my bumper light bar bolts to prevent it from rotating, and I stripped one of the screw holes on the side of the light bar. Can I fix this somehow?

Also, should I be using locktite and/or lock washers to stop it rotating in the first place?

It’s the threaded hole in the light bar that is stripped I think, not the Allen screw

I'm not sure about fixing the stripped out female fastener, but I can comment on your last question. When I got my bar from them, I was very unimpressed with the hardware they provided. The washer that was supposed to be fitted to the Allen head cap screw that anchors the end(s) to the brackets was way undersized for the application. I used a stainless steel fender washer plus a lock washer from my SS hardware collection to spread the force out a little better. So far, it's working just fine.

Great thanks I'll try that if I get the female fastener fixed. Thinking about trying to retap it or just use a helicoil.

I would have loved to help you on the stripped fastener, but my bar is buried down in the front valence and without removing it, there's no way I can look at that fastener to get an idea how it's installed.

Turns out the end cap is replaceable and Cali Raised can send me a new one so this isn't too big of a screw up on my part.
