Don't know how long it's been doing this but when I bought the truck I asked for leather and they said they would have to install it after the fact since the sport doesn't come with leather, looks great btw the way. Well I noticed while driving, even at like 20mph, that the seat will shake ever so slightly and you can hear the leather rub in a weird way.

I am assuming when they were putting the leather on they had to pull the seats out and maybe it didn't click on all the way? Does anybody know how these are put together or how I can make sure it's all tighten up properly?? Thanks in advance

I assume you are referring to the passenger seat back rather that the entire seat assembly. Assuming that is the case, the seat back of the passenger seat of my sport also shakes a little while driving, but I don't hear anything since I don't have leather rubbing against leather. By the way, the shaking of the passenger seat back is at its worst with the buzzing/vibration in the 1800-2300 rpm range.

Mine does it too. The truck has a horrible idle it vibrates when sitting still! It's normal. I could see it getting annoying with leather.

Lol, that's a quirk of the Taco. I'm pretty sure every passenger seat back shakes from first gen through third gen!

I was looking at your post thinking: "Is that a bucket being filled with beer from a spigot?! This guy sure has some weird stuff going on in his passenger seat...o_O"

I just noticed this on my 2013. Except it's the whole seat that moves, not just the seatback. URRRGG.

I also just took my first road trip in this truck. It might be my last. Seat comfort is tough in this truck long distances. Day to day it's no bother. I don't know if they radified any of that with the 3rd gen or not.

I love my Taco but holy hell on the quality of this thing. I really hope I don't regret buying it.

Should see mine on the freeway, looks like the dang thing is having a seizure.
I don't think there is really any resolution for this, it's just a 'normal characteristic of the truck'.
