What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Thanks dude! I shoot on a Canon 7D Mark II, lens I was using in that last picture is a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8

 

Installed a synthetic line safe roller fairlead. First put on the Warn 18k hook.....then re-installed my Factor 55 Pro Link. The shackle wont be staying on full time.

This thing pinches my new synthetic line and I'll never try anything new ever again....

The hook is a Warn 18K lb rated version for commercial/industrial use. They have a slightly smaller 12K lb rated version, which is now in the mail. Probably going back to that hook. Shackles may be stronger, but the hooks are far more convenient AND of ample strength.

Took off the accessory skid plate and installed the 16-18 TRD Pro skid plate That stamped on TRD logo though

Those SOS streamlines are really nice Eddy did a really good job at following the lines of the vehicle and well made. I have seen a few of his 3rd gen ones in person and some 2nd gen ones. @SC2SC has one. If you want to get something from them contact @JimboAnz before you do.

Updated per request. 20 degree rise. They do not stick out beyond the fender flairs except for the bump out.

Rather nice to be able to do your own alignments because you can get it SPOT on.


Also... that bumper *drool* always wanted one of those hidden winch / low profile style lower bumpers that work with the factory surround. SO CLEAN, SO FUNCTIONAL!

What ring seat did you use on your 5100s? second or 3rd from bottom?

 

I've said it before and I know there are plenty of tw members that agree: I despise anyone working on my rig. The ability to do my own alignment to my own specs cuts out the last person I had to rely on: the alignment tech.

That Looks GREAT! I did not know the 3rd Gen Skid would bolt right on. I'm gunna get up from my desk and walk over to my parts dept and see what I can get one of these for lol.

I will take it to a place like bigbrand that does free alignment checks to make sure my measurements are proper, and they have been and the truck drives great so I have faith in my own alignments now adays!

 

I agree, as well. Fortunately, I've built a relationship with a great guy over the last 8 years, who treats my truck like it was his own. Guy is super honest, knowledgable & skilled, so I have no problem taking my Taco to him for things I am unable to address myself...usually from lack of equipment to do it.
