I've noticed some dealers are selling new 3rd gens well under MSRP. My dealer can get me a new AC cab SR5 4WD for $31.5k out the door

Times are changing. Buyers are waiting for new redesigned mid size trucks from other auto manufacturers

alot of dealers now a days are given a bonus from the manufacturer for the number of cars sold in a month also. they are still making money even if sold under msrp. best time to go is the end of the month, always get the best deals.

I played 11 dealers against each other, all but 2 were willing to sell below msrp. 3 were offering below invoice. I ended up buying 12% off msrp, so I'd say dealers are incentive to SELL. btw I did my deal 2 days before month end and I definitely think that played a role.

I’m in Seattle area, and the market sucks. About $1800 off MSRP ($41k) is the next deal so far for a 2018 TRD OR Prem+Tech right now. Thankfully I’m not in a rush to buy. Additionally at $39.5k for a OR, id rather just get the pro for $43k range.

NEVER PAY MSRP!!! I payed $500 under invoice and probably should’ve asked for $1000 under invoice. It was the last day of the month and the dealer wanted to hit numbers. I also got 1.9%/72mo from dealer. Some people say even this deal wasn’t all that great. Instant gratification costs a lot, shop around, and don’t hesitate to walk away.
