in need of help from my tacoma brethren....
I have had a soft and spongy brake pedal for a week now, when stopped if pressure is kept on the brake pedal it will slowly go to the floor. My truck is still on guarantee so I took it to the dealer today, the service advisor told me it was normal...
Does anyone else have a soft spongy pedal that goes to the floor???
    Thank you in advance.

Nope. Sounds like air in the lines. Have them bleed it.

NO not normal... take it back to the dealer and ask to speak with the service mgr and have him drive it... take note how quickly they step back...and take another look see.

Service manager test drove it, had me sit in the demo, does the same thing. I don’t think it’s air, I think it’s the master that’s internally bypassing....

Huh... thats weird. my truck does not do that and if it did I'd have it fixed.

Brake pedal to floor is never a good thing. Did you get a receipt for your visit with them writing down "perfectly normal" just in case you can't stop 1 day .... and have an issue??

Find another dealer. If the brake pedal goes to the floor and they think that's normal, I would in no way trust my truck with those morons.
